A good year for yellow warblers in the yard, we had two in the lively
migrant fallout from April 22 - May 1.
We were treated to the cheerful “quick-three-beers” of an olive-sided
flycatcher yesterday for about ten minutes. We get one around this time every
few years. Swainson’s thrushes arrived two days ago. Hoping for pewee and
McGillivray’s warbler this week. We are enjoying the delightful melodies of
warbling vireo, at least 3 singing males in the vicinity.
