Windows compatibility has never been a consideration, be assured
of that. :-) The Cygwin folks deserve all the credit.

Yadex 1.7.0 does not compile out of the box on all 64-bit
platforms. If you have problems, you can try 1.7.900. That
version uses inttypes.h and is generally more portable.
