So it seems that you have come back. Have you tried the latest vDos-lfn for
XyWrite installation with both SHORTCUT=ON and TOPWIN=ON set in config.txt?

I am finding that I have stability problems when I run vDos-lfn. At the
moment I cannot identify any specific cause -- it may be a setting in my
CONFIG.TXT as I am using the setup from my vDosXY and just importing the
vDos-lfn.exe and the 4DOS files and folder. Unfortunately I have
restricted time to explore this at present and I am away for a couple of
weeks from tomorrow so I will not be able to do more until I get back.
