Just let you know that you can use "start _ run.cmd" (or "start /hid
run.cmd") to hide the CMD window when executing .CMD files in this

generic solution that doesn't require 4DOS's specialized batch language.
However, "start /hid" does not work -- nothing happens. Can you
reproduce this?
