In the setup I have if I put IP+n or IP-n on the cmd line the embedded
triangle viewed in expanded mode adds "IN" (inches, of course) to the mix;
I have to manually delete that to get the effective result Harry has posted
about. My sense is I have a directive somewhere--probably in
settings.dfl--that makes this happen; I haven't researched that yet.

Signature ? Guys, I could have sworn I was using that feature a real long
time ago, in Xy-3. Outlining, which could get fairly elaborate, at times.
I probably even had some basic automation of this (macros -- for indent |
outdent levels) in keyboard files. I have not used it in many years . . .
but I think this goes way, way back.

I just discovered an undocumented (I think) feature: <IP+n> and
<IP-n>. This is a great feature for building outlines, or code-
indents.
OMG, Harry. This was documented in Signature: Making the Transition
(XyQuest 1991), at p. 4-4 . As one of innumerable examples, run
IFEI2<Helpkey> against XPL code with nested IFs/EIs, then toggle into
eXPanded view.
