It is of course ironic that immediately after our decision to sell 50% the
Bitcoin prices rose to its highest.
But these currencies can fluctuate wildly. In Jan 2018 Etherium hit £1000 a
coin, then 1 year later in Jan 2019 it was as low as £66 .
If , having opted to sell, the price had dropped we would be saying how wise we
were. If we had not sold anything and it dropped back over time to our cost
price or less then we would be saying how stupid we were not to sell when it
was so high.
I think we have done the right thing. By taking profit we have recouped our
investment and what remains is profit that will hopefully still increase.
Whatever happens, we have taken a profit and we still enjoy the roller coaster
ride that is cryptocurrency.
best wishes,
Peter

It’s our new policy, John. If the Raconteur fails to attend the meeting then
we sell half their shares!

I don't know if we would have acted differently, but I was preparing to share
some of the positive outlook for cryptos at our meeting.
Maybe just maybe rather than selling with BTC at $19 we would still be
holding with BTC approaching $24.
I will do my best to be at the next meeting!!
John.
