Here is an update to the agenda. Shannon from BCM is unable to be there
tonight, so we're replacing his part of the agenda with a more general
discussion of what else *we'd* like to do. Shannon will attend our June
meeting to discuss BCM's recommended Ped. Forum followups. I also added a
topic for a BikeMaine Community Grant opportunity which Abigail learned of
this week. The details are attached, and I will bring copies to the meeting.
Hope to see you this afternoon!

month.) [15 min]

Logo. LeeLee and Agy have been making some tweaks to the logo which

Greetings, WSMAC mailing list!
Welcome to our new members who have signed up so far as a result of the
Pedestrian Safety Forum two Thursdays ago! Our new confirmed members so far
are Kathleen Worcester, Ethan Flynn, Bob Barrett, and Agy Wilson.
Our normal meeting days are the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the late
afternoon. At the last meeting, we discussed moving them from 4:30 PM to 5
PM, so we're going to try that this Wednesday, which is the 3rd Wednesday.
Though it is not our normal meeting place, we have arranged to meet at the
high school this month, because there is a public meeting at 6 PM, by the
City of Westbrook and the Maine DOT, about the Cumberland Triangle
redesign, in Room 114. So WSMAC members who are interested in that meeting
can easily attend both.
Here is a proposed agenda for Wednesday (lots to get through in just one
hour; let's keep focused!):
- Introductions *[5 min]*
- Pedestrian Forum Reflection - what was good, what else/more would we
do next time? *[10 min]*
- Pedestrian Forum Next Steps - Shannon? (Suggestions: Walkability
Audit, SWOT Analysis [Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWOT_analysis>]) *[20 min]*
- Westbrook Together Days - Opportunity to represent and recruit.
Non-profit cost is $100. Can we staff it, and how to cover the cost?
Sponsor? *[15 min]*
- Logo. LeeLee and Agy have been making some tweaks to the logo which
Abigail created for us last month to use on our posters. They will bring
their ideas for us to look at. *[10 min]*
I have been keeping notes of our meetings, and the proposed agendas, at this
online Google Doc
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/13RvnvIzz7vkuTblwf0yA-8cq-VyJeYT6Og-CrfRMvSk/edit?usp=sharing>.
You may refer to it anytime to see what we've discussed in the past. It
should be readable by anyone.
Hope to see you there!
