1. Waiting to turn L, from Bridge to Main Street, at 4:14 PM today. Watched
a Pedestrian, Female, late 30's, talking on a phone with Right Hand,
walked across from Bridge Street west side to Main Street, walking briskly.
Never saw the Walking Pedestrian White Logo or even the overhead
Illuminated Yield to Pedestrian Sign come on, Right Turn Bridge to Main
was Green Arrow with moving traffic. She just weaved between cars across.
2. Waiting at north side of Spring Street Lights to Drive across WCD, to
Maine Mall. A triple axle Noonan Tractor Trailer Tanker, turned Right from
WCD to Spring Street, made a perfect Right Hand Turn.
Three cars were stopped in the Left Turn Lane behind the White Stop Bar,
across from me on Spring Street, waiting to turn Left onto WCD. What I
noticed after the T / TT had made its turn, were the still Visible Wet
Front Tire Tread Marks of the Kenworth Tractor right on the Right Hand
Corner of the White Stop Bar for the Left Turn Lane.
When Dry Spring Weather returns, perhaps that L / T Lane White Stop Bar
could be repainted further back 1 car length.on Spring Street, northbound
at WCD. People hate to have to back up. In this case, the three cars
were all stopped behind the Stop Bar, YEAH. !!! But not everyone stops
behind the stop bars.
