I found this in the September 8th Issue of  " THE NOTES " , a free weekly
Newspaper for towns to the north and west of Portland.  The focus is on 2
Intersections for State Routes 9 and 115.

The BCof Maine is not noted but the same type of flexible 3' high posts are
being installed. This Report describes them as "  Channelizer Posts or
Bollards" instead of " Delineators " with the Objective being to " create a
narrower feel along the Street, slowing traffic at gateway points and
spaced roughly 150 to 200 Feet apart. "

Having traveled up there several times over the past several years, the 2
Intersections mentioned for Routes 9 and 115 can be Very Busy at times much
like our Main Street here in Westbrook.
