One more orange flag comment, this one more encouraging. Perhaps the rural
location helps to minimize the theft problem.

Hey John and Leelee,
One more comment on the orange flags!
We've been using orange flags at Maine Coast Waldorf School in Freeport for
a number of years now. The orange flags are in a bucket and you could get
flag to cross Desert Road. I think this system has worked quite well in
increasing the visibility of the person crossing the street. Every couple
of years the flags need to be "refreshed" as they fade out and are not so
vibrant.
