The 67 year old man was transported with severe, life threatening injuries.
The driver was in his/her twenties I believe.
Everything's just about set and ready for KSD. There's a meeting

Early Thursday Morning, 7:30 AM, Westbrook PD responded to a Pedestrian
being hit at The T Intersection of Austin and East Bridge Street. I do not
all the conditions that caused this But, recently , there has been an
increase in Close Calls, Near Misses involving PEDESTRIANS and Drivers at
Locations away from the immediate Downtown Westbrook Area.
With Autumn coming on, Drivers, Pedestrians, Schoolchildren, School Bus
Drivers will all be facing the Bright Sunlight of early Morning and Late
Afternoon. These conditions need to be recognized and pointed out to both
Kids and Parents at the Westbrook Kids Safety Day, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER
