Carson, I use an electric wheelchair outside, and it's sometimes impossible
to get around. I can't imagine how tough it could be while using a white
came or guide dog. Stay safe, warm and alert everyone. Dennis, ty for your
observation.

I just saw a nice black Saab, on East Bridge Street, near 302, having to
slow down and turn his windshield wipers on, after a slab of Snow slid off
the roof, and covered his windshield.
A Friendly Reminder, to everyone, therefore, Take a few minutes to clean
off your vehicle' s ROOF following a Snowstorm. If you have a Pick - Up
Truck, A large SUV, and are a short person like me, use a broom or one of
those Squeegee with a telescoping handle to push or pull the snow off your
vehicle roof, or a short stepladder to more easily reach your roof.
A mix of snow, with freezing rain or sleet can make a real flying thru the
air hazard.
I recall our Biddeford Stations crew, returning to their shop from southern
York County on either Rte. 202 or 4, in our International Corner Mount
Truck with a driver and 2 co-workers in the cab. A Corner Mount has a
telescoping Crane mounted on a Pedestal for lifting heavy, pieces of
equipment. A flat roofed Truck from either a well-known Dairy or Ice Cream
Business coming towards them in the opposite lane, had an ICE coated Slab
of SNOW, detach from the truck' s flat roof and become airborne. It
shattered the windshield of our Corner Mount Truck, but the windshield
stayed attached without falling into the Cab. The Driver of the other truck
never knew what happened. I do not know if they were able to locate the
driver.
