Tonight from 5-7 there is a Neighborhood Block Party at the Community
Policing Center on Brown Street. There will be free food, games, door
prizes, and other fun, and an opportunity to meet Community Policing
Coordinator Megan Perry and other officers.
Although we don't all live in that neighborhood, I think it might still be
a good opportunity to WSMAC'ers to stop by and just get to know some other
residents, which probably includes many immigrants, and some of the police
officers. Maybe Officer Mandeville, the bicycle patrol officer I met at
Westbrook Together Days, will be there.

TODAY - NATIONAL NIGHT OUT!!!
Come join the Westbrook Police Department TONIGHT for the annual National
Night Out event! The event is from 5 to 7 pm at our Community Policing
Center, located at 192 Brown Street. We will have Brown Street blocked off
between King and North Streets so that we can all have a grand old time!
National Night Out features free barbecue food (not to brag, but our
officers sure know how to grill!), games, canine demonstrations, face
painting and much more! It is also a great opportunity to meet and interact
with your local officers in a much more personal and laid-back atmosphere
than normal.
