Hello CCDA members:
Mary, Paul and Julie have arranged for CCDA to have their spring training,
March 24, 2017 at the Erie 1 BOCES. We met at the center on June 9th and the
space seems appropriate for our needs.
We would like members to provide feedback about this location good or bad. We
would have to inform them shortly as they are holding the rooms for us.
If this is not acceptable by the majority of the group then our other option is
to have it at Hilbert like we always do.
We were also able to discuss session options at this meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held at Hilbert, June 24th, 2016 at 2p.
Debbie will provide you details as to the room/building.

Hello Debbie and Sumana,
Paul, Julia, and I had the opportunity to talk to our supervisor (Sue) about
hosting CCDA Spring Training March 24. Erie 1 BOCES can host the day, and
there is no cost for the rooms because it will be a collaboration with the
Regional Special Education - Technical Assistance Support Center (i.e. Julia,
Paul, and Mary).
I know the location is not definitely set yet, we'd want to get feedback from
the larger group. So the rooms are being held, and if we find out that the
group would rather hold it at Hilbert (or wherever) we can release the rooms.
Also Debbie and I were looking at the menu for Dave's Kitchen, who has the
contract for catering here at E1B. We figured for an assorted breakfast
(pastries, fruit, yogurt), sandwich lunch with 2 sides, and beverages for the
day it might be around $18 per person. We have to add on some sort of gratuity
also, which I'm guessing would bring the cost up to $21 - $22 per person (if
these are the meal choices we go with and pricing does not change before March)
I forgot to ask about CEU credits. I'll send Sue an email to see if and how we
can make it an option for teachers.
