Dear club colleagues and friends, we very much hope that you can join us at our
next club meeting, tomorrow evening, Monday the 14th of November at the
Bidborough Village Hall, starting at 8pm.
CLASSIC EQUIPMENT - The meeting this month begins with a presentation by Keith
G3VKW, who will be giving his talk on the classic radios that have been used in
radio amateur shacks from the early days of manufactured equipment beginning in
the 1950/60's, much of which I expect will be familiar to many of us.
The presentation will take us to our refreshment break, after when we will have
time to natter and get to know some of our newly licenced members, and
encourage them on their journey into amateur radio.
The meeting will commence at 8pm and details of the club location can be found
on our website, www.wkars.org.uk. Non members are very welcome to attend this
meeting, for which we would ask a donation of £2 toward costs, which includes a
tea/coffee and biscuits during the interval break.
