There's a flooded field south of Madison, on S Fish Hatchery Road just north of
County M, where hundreds of Tree Swallows and few Barn Swallows have been
feeding as I passed by last week

Subject: [wisb] Re: swallow movement
We, too, noticed it was a “swallow day” yesterday, the first time we’ve
witnessed one in the fall. We saw about 60 at the Genoa Fish Hatchery on the
Mississippi early afternoon and another 50 here in Lake Mills late afternoon.
They were all Tree Swallows, and they’re still here this morning, zipping
through the yard.
