Hey everyone, no I haven't disappeared. Still here. We encountered a real nasty virus at home during Christmas break, our tower is still being looked at, so I am at the Tech right now. Finally I can keep updated with everyone, everything. =) Really there hasn't been too much around here except for 2 days I had some good stuff. Christmas Eve day I had a bald eagle, the Immy Gr. BB gull again and.......Titan! Almost all three in 15 minutes. The peregrine,as usual, held guard over the water tower, the eagle was soaring west of there and then on the way back from that brief errand the GULL showed up. And rather close up by the Wisconsin St. bridge!! Another item of note, at the mouth of the Fox, Pioneer area, the open water yielded several common mergansers, and a few Com. Goldeneyes as well. The crowd of gulls did not however yield anything odd, that I could see. Nothing finch-wise yet. BUT, now that I recall something cool, I stopped out at my parents on the 26th and got to here a singing cardinal. Nice day to hear a sound of spring........wishfully thinking. So now that school is about to start up again here at the Tech I'll be able to keep in touch again, or when the tower comes back, whichever comes first. Nice to see a computer screen again. Happy New Year, too, to you all. Paul Bruce, Oshkosh Winnebago Co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
