I got into birding when I was very young but I really couldn't pursue it until
I was married with kids. My daughter showed interest after we started putting
up feeders and bird houses. Now she had her own place with her fiance and has
set up feeders. Recently, I heard that her fiance has gone bird crazy. He
is studying calls, naming the birds that come to the deck, and they are
interested in taking some of the seminars offered at Wehr. This has been a
real surprise to us. Hopefully, they will get binoculars one day. Â
