Trip to Beaver Dam for errands. A flooded field along Hwy A had 10 bonaparte's feeding on the edge of the water. A lifer for me. Some had black head, some had spot behind eye. Retention ponds across from Menard's had bufflehead, scaup, canada geese, mallards, 2 pied-billed grebes and 1 female canvasback. Above dam in Beaver Dam was mallards, 3 ruddy ducks, and many gulls farther out in lake. Flooded field closer to home had green-winged teal and northern shoveler. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
