[wisb] birds and spurge question

Driving around country roads this am I was appalled by the increasing
amount of leafy spurge. Does any one know if there is an optimum time
for the road crew to cut the spurge, that is also optimum to have the
least impact on nesting birds??????? thanks Joan Schnabel Fountain
