I will be in Western Pennsylvania for non-birding activities in a few days
and I am thinking about extending my trip out to the East Coast for some
birding. I was thinking about Bombay Hook NWR in DE and/or Chincoteague NWR
in VA but am open to other suggestions. I have been to Cape May previously
and I was looking for a location I have not been to before. The birding days
would be Sept. 13-14 and I would be targeting gulls, terns, pelagics and
shorebirds, particularly red knot.

I will be checking the listserve sites for those sites. Any tips or
suggestions for those locations (or that area) and time of year would be
much appreciated. I went to Calif. three or four years ago and the tips
provided by Wusbirders made my trip exponentially better!
