I was reading about a wooden thing called a Woodpecker Bongo that is suppose
to deter WPs from pecking on houses.
Basically it is a long hollow device made from 1x 4 cedar boards, 4 sided,
approx 3-4 ft long.
You nail it vertically to the trunk of a tree and the WPs drill it for sound
and potential food.
I think the MN DNR was 1st to promote it.
Sounds like something you'd see in Birds&Blooms so I don't know.
Do they work? Is anyone going bonkers over the bongo?
