Hello,
I havenât seen a goldfinch in days. And no Siskin. Or house finch.
My mourning doves and house sparrows are still around. Blue Jays are still
coming in occasionally. And woodpeckers on my peanut feeder.
I wonder if itâs mild enough that they arenât feeling the need to visit
feeders for supplementary food.
With coming colder temps they may be back.

I have a similar problem. My birds have completely disappeared! I donât
have ash trees but I have some very large evergreens, where the little
birds liked to hang out & visit the feeders. Today I had a visit from a
pileated & a red-belly. And, thatâs it. Have not seen a hawk around this
year. I just canât imagine what is going on! Any thoughts? It has been this
way all winter.

we cut down 10 ash trees on our property, and in November 2020, the last3
