[wisb] Western Grebe behavior in Sheboygan

Earlier this week I reported an "injured" Western Grebe in the Sheboygan
Marina.  It's still around and well.  Tom Wood directed me to an article
(see link below) that explains that the leg extension is a known behavior
of Western and Clark's Grebe, apparently done for thermoregulation,  They
hold the leg up out of the water then tuck it under their wing. Weird but I
suppose no weirder than when I take my gloves off my numb hands and shove
them in my armpits.
