I spent most of the morning at Wehr Nature Center and then headed to Lake Park. I was the person who saw the Nashville, Black-throated Green, and Palm Warblers. Other highlights were a singing Gray Catbird and a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Lake Park had a couple of Brown Thrashers, Hermit Thrushes, Common Yellowthroats, loads of House Wrens, and a single Lincoln Sparrow. I was reluctant to leave. A couple of days ago I had a Merlin take a Dark-eyed Junco in my backyard.
