I found a new county life bird this afternoon. There were two Willets present in a flooded field close to Pike Lake, which is located along Marathon Co. Hwy Y, about 4 miles south of Hatley, WI. They were located behind the baseball field at the town of Reid townhall building, located right on Hwy Y, near Pike Lake. Also present were about a dozen Greater Yellowlegs. I took a digiscoped photo of one of the Willets and put it on my Flickr.com site.
