Nothing too exciting:
About 100 Northern Shovelers
About 10-20 Buffleheads
2 common loons
Adult Bald eagle causing the Northern Shovelers and Buffleheads to scatter
About 10 swamp sparrows feeding in the newly created marsh at the canoe landing
Did see some interesting behavior: Ring-billed gulls feeding from a type of
(may?)apple tree at the canoe landing. They did not actually land in the tree
but sort of scooped down to pick a fruit.
