Just witnessed flock after flock of Swans flying over Clear Lake, WI (Polk Co).
8 V formations with a good 20 birds in each flock.
Too bad they didn't see the weather report...a foot of snow is coming.

Well, they are coming in from Lake St, Claire been flying a long time even with
the tail wind. Too bad so much of the area still has ice cover they will have
to search for corn fields. It's windy and cloudy at Green Bay, no
precipitation yet.

There are currently over 1000 in one field alone right outside of Shiocton.
Right on Highway 54. Coming in high in constant waves. It's a shame its raining
and sleeting here, but they sure don't seem to mind flying in it.
