I imagine there will be many posts about this outstanding find by a local
resident this morning. Several of us gathered at his backyard this afternoon
for a crazy 2 hour run. The bird had been seen about an hour before we
arrived. We could not find it but a boater chased all the ducks around to a
nearby park. We tried there when at least one birder saw it but another boater
chased all the ducks out over Lake Winnebago. We then heard that the male duck
had returned off shore from the original spot. Raced back to hear that it just
flown south to the park. Back we rushed and there it was among a few Lesser
Scaup. Everyone had great looks at it!! Good luck if you try tomorrow and
stay safe.
