There were about 50 swans in Lake Mendota, near the Governor's Mansion in Maple
Bluff. They were with Canada geese and some Mallard ducks. It was hard to see
them at first, the water was very choppy. My daughter told me she saw swans
near the University.
We also saw at least 100 swans on the east side of Lake Monona.
