Just saw this on MOU-Net:

  Yesterday (July 30, 2012) at about 12:15, my co-worker and I watched a
Swallow-tailed Kite soaring just above the tree line just to the east of
our
main building. We are located at the east end of Duluth, MN (St. Louis Co.)
right across Hwy 61 from Lake Superior. The Kite moved out of sight to the
north after a minute or so.

it from
up there. Unfortunately, I don't think they have any observers up there
yet. I
am waiting to hear back from them. Feel free to call me if you have anymore
questions. I am hoping more people spotted it, as I understand it has
not been
recorded this far north yet.

So, keep your eyes peeled if you're heading for the Duluth/Superior area
in the near future...
