Had a great morning at Spring Green Preserve and afternoon at Thomson Memorial and Thousand's Rock Prairies in Dane County today. Highlights at Spring Green were DICKSISSELS, GRASHOPPER SPARROWS, LARK SPARROWS, EASTERN MEADOWLARKS. and ORCHARD ORIOLE. Not many wildflowers except for spiderwort and wood lilies and a few others. Thousand's Rock Prairie was somewhat quiet, but did have a Grasshopper Sparrow, Dicksissel, and Eastern Meadowlark. Finally had my life UPLAND SANDPIPERS at Thomson Memorial Prairie, along with more DICKSISSELS, and BOBOLINKS. Full lists below and photos coming soon.
