Birders, longing to see a Spruce Grouse? I'm leading a Natural Resources
Foundation of WI (www.wisconservation.org) field trip (#10) on Friday, May 2,
near the Sawyer-Ashland County line and there's still space available. This is
also a fundraiser for the Bird Protection Fund, so your trip fee will go to the
perfect cause. A win-win for you and the birds!

The trip will go off-road in searching of displaying males, so even if you've
seen road-gritting grouse in winter or otherwise, this is a whole new level of
