On Sunday, Gwyn Calvetti found a Snowy Owl at the La Crosse Airport.
When I stopped last night, I was lucky enough to spot 2. The first bird seen
flew and landed in a tree on the west edge of the airport property north of the
main terminal. There was a second bird sitting on top of the cell tower that
is located in the old terminal area on the east side of the airport near the
control tower and private aircraft hangers.
