Six Mile Creek by Gov Nelson State Park, Madison was a great place to be in
akayak this afternoon, deep enough to paddle and shallow enough to have some
mudflats for shorebirds. Highlights were an Osprey eating a fish, 4 twirling
Phaleropes and a Sora preening on a sunny log in plain sight.
