[wisb] Sandhills--southern Waukesha County

While out hiking Southern Kettle Moraine--Rainbow Unit today, a pair of 
Sandhill Cranes were circling Rainbow Lake.  This area is now open to 
the public and is located in extreme southern Waukesha County between 
the town of Mukwonago and the town of Eagle.  Other birds seen were:
Am. Crow

Canada Geese

Mallard

Common Goldeneye

Common Merganser

gull sp.

Downy Woodpecker

Hairy Woodpecker

Red-bellied Woodpecker

White-breasted Nuthatch

Northern Cardinal

Belted Kingfisher

thrush sp. (likely a Hermit Thrush)
