I found a Red Knot purely by accident this afternoon in Kenosha @ Alford
Park. In juvenile plumage foraging with a juvenile Black Bellied Plover. I
laid down in the sand to watch both of them and had close views (~10 feet
or so) for several minutes. I wasn't on a birding mission this morning,
though, so I didn't check my camera closely before heading out if my memory
card was in it or not... So unfortunately my only pictures are digibins
(See eBird checklist (https://ebird.org/wi/checklist/S94079867) Coordinates
of where I found them: 42.614830, -87.819951Moved North up the beach a
little bit from that location when I left, but still present in the general
vicinity.
