I started the morning at Wind Point in Racine, with four Black-bellied Plovers, a Dunlin, a Least Sandpiper, three fly-by Merlins, and a Snow Bunting on the beach (thanks for the spotting, Jenny!). Then a quick stop at the shore in Lake Park in Milwaukee turned up four Surf Scoters, two Black Scoters, and a Scaup species. Guess we've turned a corner in fall migration for sure now!
