[wisb] RFI: iPod Touch & birding software

I find myself with a serious case of iPod Touch lust. I had been
mulling getting an iPod for birding purposes anyway, and had also been
thinking about getting a little netbook computer for traveling, but the
ability to combine the two functions in one device seems much more
practical. My main question is how much capacity do I need? Will an 8
gig be sufficient for basic birding software and checking email/web
browsing while travelling, or should I spend a little more for the 32?
I'd appreciate backchannel responses from any current users.

Thanks, Peter Fissel
