This looks very good for a Vesper Sparrow to me, Jennifer -- especially the 
prominent white eye-ring.  Did you notice white outer tail feathers when (or 
if) it flew?

I briefly observed and photographed what I think could be a Vesper Sparrow
due to the prominent eye rings yesterday at Warnimont Park. The bird was
seen amidst a flurry of juncos and a few juvenile White-crowneds.
I'd like confirmation (or not), since this would be a life bird for me.
