Hi all:
Since the Red-throated Loon was caught by a fisherman, several birders have
reported that they have seen it and all is good.
Today I could not find it. Hope someone else has. However, here is a photo
taken two days ago after the incident.
There seems to be an ugly gash on it's throat and also a long mark (scrape ??)
also on its throat. This is all within the area of where the hook was taken out.
