This morning between 7:30 and 11:00am: At the entrance to Picnic Point - several Gray Catbirds, a male and female Common Yellowthroat Warbler, a Song Sparrow, a House Wren taking a dirt bath on the path and a juvenile male Rose-breasted Grosbeak Walking north up the asphalt road - two Swainson's thrushes, lots of noisy Blue Jays Top of hill just beyond the big oak - Northern Cardinals, Black-capped Chickadees, White-breasted Nuthatches, Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers, American Robins, male and female Redstarts and a Magnolia Warbler Biocore Prairie - Mourning Doves, a Northern Flicker, Gray Catbirds, Song Sparrows and American Goldfinches, otherwise unusually quiet Frautschi Point - the best of the day!
