Through the efforts of Pat Ready (thank you Pat), and now having corresponded
with Peter’s sister, Jessica, I’m able to offer the following:
Peter’s sister’s mailing address is:

She stated that Peter will be cremated as per Peter’s wishes and that no formal
service is planned, also in keeping with Peter’s wishes.
Jessica requested that if at some future date, any of Peter’s friends wish to
gather for an informal (or formal) celebration of Peter’s life, she would like
to be informed. My thought is perhaps something through WSO or Madison Audubon
at some later date? Pat Ready said he would be doing some followups as well.
Jessica felt those who birded with Peter on a regular basis would know best
what to do. She also wondered about an appropriate location or locations where
Peter’s ashes could be scattered - favorite birding spots.
All of the emails you have sent, both before Peter passed and the one’s
following, have been forwarded to Jessica. She has found them profoundly moving
and have provided much comfort.
If you have any other comments via email for Jessica please backchannel me and
I’ll pass them along.
