After about twenty searches for crossbills of any kind in Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison over the past three months, I found a group of five White-winged Crossbills there about at about 3:00 this afternoon! They were in a spruce tree in the north-west corner of the cemetery (Section 40) which had hundreds of cones scattered beneath it. Ironically, I drove to school today, so I'll have to try again tomorrow for my BIGBY list! Good Birding!
