[wisb] Manitowoc County CBCs

Manitowoc County will be running 4 CBCs (as usual) this year.  These counts are 
run through the Woodland Dunes Nature Center at Two Rivers.  After last year's 
counts, there was talk of ending two of the counts as there was so little 
participation.  We will run all four again this year and hope that they will be 
better attended.  A problem with the four counts is that they happen on the 
most active four days of the count period - thus most birders are booked for 
those dates.  But, if you should be open to help (even as a feeder watcher), 
please contact Jim Knickelbine at Woodland Dunes.  The email address is

The Count Dates are --

Dec. 17 -- SW Manitowoc County (including Collins, Kiel, School Hill and St. 
Nazianz)
Dec. 18 -- SE Manitowoc County (including the Lake Michigan lakefront from near 
the county line north to the City of Manitowoc)
Dec. 31 -- NW Manitowoc County and into Brown County (including the Cooperstown 
Swamp and Reedsville)
Jan. 1 -- NE Manitowoc County (as Manitowoc County makes a big bulge out into 
Lake Michigan in this circle, the entire lakefront from just north of the City 
of Manitowoc to the Kewaunee County Line is included plus a large chunk of 
inland territory)
