Good evening,
I started the day at Whitnall Park, and while it started pretty good for
warblers, species wise, they pretty much disappeared by 930 and I hadn't
taken a single picture, so I moved on. I decided to try Warnimont Park.
WOW! I spent 3 hours just standing in the parking lot watching the trees.
Waves and waves of warblers kept passing by. There wasn't just single
birds, but multiplies of every kind, including FOY's Hooded and Canada
Warblers and Orchard Oriole. 2 Blackburnian were on the same branch, 3
Golden-winged and 2 Black-throated Blue singing. It was just as good as
Saturday. I really just stood, watching the amounts of warblers in
disbelief. Here is my checklist from today.
