Good evening,
I received a text this evening (thank you Jessica), about a Piping Plover
at South Metro Pier Beach. When I got there, I found it right away and took
a distant doc photo, in case it would take off. It didn't look right to me,
though. As I walked closer and got real good views, I realized it was a
Snowy Plover!!! What a great bird for Wisconsin! It was still present as of
830 tonight. Hopefully it will stick around for others to see. Photos can
