If you're in the area today and have some time, stop by Lake Park in Milwaukee for a stroll. It's dripping with warblers! There isn't the variety of those posting from further inland, but I did manage to find a few good ones: Northern Waterthrush, Magnolia, Ovenbird, Blue-winged, and Northern Parula among others. Every little clump of trees in the golf course held about 20 *butter-butts *as well as a few others, and the bluffs and ravines had wave after wave passing by. Also at the park were Warbling Vireos and a Marsh Wren near the Bistro, a Merlin stalking the feeders at Locust St. Ravine, and sparrows galore, including many White-crowned and Clay-colored amongst the trees on the golf course. As left to get to work by 8:00 the bird song continued to increase! . Cheers!
