Some of this will be a bit redundant from some other posts, but this is what I saw today. I started along 6 MIle Rd, south of Jay Rd. The Snowy Owl was being harassed by Crows. The feeder along D by Harrington Beach SP had standard feeder birds, NO White-cr, Fox or Harris's Sparrows (I spent about a half hour watching). Near the end a female Cowbird came in to feed. Harrington Beach off D had standard diving ducks. On the way to Port Washington, a Harrier was cruising over the fields. At Port the Kittiwake was present. In addition there was a Thayer's and Great Black-backed Gull, a few Ring-billed Gulls, Cormorants, Coots, Canvasbacks, Redhead, Ruddy Ducks, both scaup, and all 3 mergansers. Kohler/Andrae SP had several scaup rafts plus 7 Great Black-backed and 3 Glaucous Gulls. The feeders had standard birds. Sheboygan had many Great Black-backed and Glaucous Gulls, the male Barrow's Goldeneye and female Harlequin Duck. Manitowoc/Two Rivers was really quiet with only the Peregrine Falcon and a Great Black-backed Gull. Green Bay (mouth of the Fox River) had 7 Cormorants, 1 Iceland Gull and 31 Lesser Scaup. For the day I ended with 51 species. A very enjoyable day although standing out on the harbor at Port Washington was really COLD!!
