While scoping for waterfowl, I watched a Great Egret fly across the lake. Not moving very fast going into the wind. I counted 92 Common Loons, only 2 were in basic plumage. Only a few of the loons were in nice viewing range. 56 cormorants were on the lake. Much easier to count than the loons. All were in a group. The Hy 138 pond had 266 White-Fronted Geese and 2 swans(tundra I think, didn't put a scope on them).
